Hifonics subwoofer

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the goliath xx2415 from hifonics is a good investment. I am thinking of getting that and a 4,000 watt hard kore MA audio amp to push it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Yea the normal sensitivity is 101.60 at 2.83v input!
and this is good why?

i just went through this on another forum...

if they are measuring at 2.83v on a dvc 2 ohm sub wired in parallel, that's measuring at over 8 watts (for a dvc 4 ohm in parallel that would be over 4 watts). that's an easy way to skew "sensitivity" numbers.

are these measurements done 1m from the baffle or from the dustcap? do they state at what distance these measurements are even taken at?

how do you increase efficiency? you decrease Mms or increase BL, both of which hurt low end extension.

in a subwoofer, i honestly have no idea why "high sensitivity ratings" would be of any value, particularly when one considers the vodoo behind most of these ratings. now if we look at n0, that's a slightly different story but still a poor way to decide whether it's a quality sub or not. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
