if u had a choice between the hifonics bx1000d and the visonik v800xd which one would you pick and why? your answers are greatly appreciated! also, how do you feel about all of your amps being the same brand??

If they are about the same price then the Visonik would be the better bargain, due to more power for the same cost. I dont know what the guts of the BX1000d look like but here is what the Visonik looks like

I think the BX1500d would be a better comparison to the V800XD, they cost about the same and put out about the same power.

The Hifonics because i've seen it in action and i know it performs well. the price on the hifonics is $239 and the visonik is $349. this is the cheapest i could find both amps from authorized dealers. btw i plan on pushing 2 12" he2's if that makes a difference.

I'd get the HiFonics for that price, that's an awesome deal.

If you were looking at the Visoniks, I would point you towards the 900XD which goes for 349 on eBay.

I love it! I have channels 1&2 bridged into a 2ohm load (two Vifa PLs per side)...same with channels 3&4. From the manual I was under the impression that you can run a 2ohm load on each individual channel...when I tried that I had very very very little output...so I bridged them. This thing puts out quite a bit of power when set up like this...I'd say about 300-400Wx2 @2ohm, pretty impressive.
