Hifonics, I am a non believer in MA stuff... but thats a personal preference.

I previously owned the HK401SX, and I liked it for it's price and features. you will find that it shows a digital read-out of the amp's temperature; input voltage; and bass notes. I was comparing it to the Orion 1200D, and there was not much of an audible difference between the two.

ive had good luck with an MA hk401sx and the hk2000d-never tried a hifonics so i cant compare it

Price aside, I'd probably go with the MA.After having owned both hifonics and MA amps (and knowing others who use them). I doubt I'll ever own another hifonics.

Why did you have a lot of problems with the Hifonics??? I was just wondering because i was gonna switch from MA to Hifonics.....

I've had 3 hifonics (2 zeus one brutus) over the years and theyve been nothing but great for the price. Never had an MA product so I cant compare the two, I just know that hifonics has always worked well for my applications.
