Hifonics interfering with FM signal?

I had a Hifonics BXi1605D (the all silver with blue writing) a while ago. Had to get rid of it though. But I never was able to get an fm signal when it was hooked up and powered on. I was wondering if that was normal or not.

The power wires and RCA's were nowhere near eachother so it wasnt that...

I only ask because I am once again in the market for an amp that will do ~1600W into a stable 1-ohm load. It's running my pioneer TSW-2504D pair.

Thanks

Ok. So if a class D mono amp will do that, HOW THE HECK DO I RUN MY SUBS THEN? I dont know of any amps that ARENT class D that will do ~1600W at 1 ohm and are stable.

Anyone know of anything like that? preferably not for an arm and leg?
