i was wondering if anyone knows what the peak output of a bxi 2608d is at 1 ohm @14.4 volts, i cant find out anywhere, looking to maybe get one of these amps, jus wonderin what it peaked out at at burps

Then why are you asking? You know it has to be true.

yeah... and unless your holding a full 14.4v+ at full tilt your probably not going to see a full 2600w. For the most part, the amp is over-rated.

If you can get a true 1 ohm load after imp. rise and burping it at 14.4v or above, you should see that 2500-2600w they claim.

i havent used any power acoustik amps, but they are slightly over-rated as well (from what ive been told and heard before).

your probably getting 2000w with good voltage out of the power acoustik. the Hifonics will make more power, but it might not be a noticeable difference just jumping up a few hundred watts.

If i were you, i would look around for another pa 3000db and run 2 of them, then you will have 4kw+ to work with.

yea ive considered that too, i dunno what ill end up doing yet, jus want to get louder,
