I have an Hifonics zx8000 5 ch amp and it works great. Now here is my problem, my Hifonics logo wont light up. Is there anyway I can fix this myself? Looks very cheezy at night because my Hifonics Bxi1606 lights up but the zx8000 doesn't.

Does anyone else have this problem with Hifonics amps. If so can you share on ways of fixing this problem. ( Please dont tell me to duck tape the other on so they both match LoL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif. ) Thanks!

Well I opened my amp to find the led's are burnt out on the logo circut board. The good thing is that it can be disconnected from the mother board. I called Maxxsonics but they dont sell the l.e.d. strip. I will just buy a pre-assebled l.e.d. strip complete with resistors and connect it in the amp but to a completley different power source. Plain and simple. Thank's for the help guys.

I think I read your post. Will you be using the same circut board and just sodering new L.E.D.'s to? Or are you going to custom a new board altogether. By the way what type of led's are the proper one's to use if I end up using the old circut light bored?

Those look great and are really simple to install but they are back ordered for the straight led modules. But those are absolutley the key in solving my problems. Thanks alot Buddy..

The Hifonics logo has 8 LED's on one circuit board to illuminate the logo which is plugged into the amp pcb.

It may be that the plug simply unplugged.

You will have to open the amp to find out.

I have opend up the amp and it was plugged in to the PCB, so I unplugged it and really took a close look at the led's and found that three of them were burn't out. I have already purchaced 9 blue ultra bright led's complete with risistor's and I will just have to do some soddering to connect it to the + positive of the 12v remote terminal and - to the negative terminal inside the amp and I should be fine. The greatest thing about that is any color of choice can be done. But I suggest someone not to do this because opening an amp up can destroy it and also void the warranty. If you can and are able to, I would like to see pic's of people amps who has changed out there factory blue hifonics led's to custom colors.
