PG vs. Kicker?

ok so i've been looking at a few amps for my car.
the PG RSD1200.1 vs. the Kicker 06ZX1000.1

any opinions on these two? is the kicker worth the extra money or will the rsd do fine?
If you're looking for a 1-ohm stable kicker amp with that kind of power, look at Kickers older line-up. KX1200.1

well i was asking which of those 2 would do me better, the PG is less expensive, but i've heard that the kicker is higher quality.
Actually, you can pick up a KX1200.1 on eBay for under $200 shipped. The ZX1000.1 is not an amp you should be looking at.

depends on what ohm load it will see.. PG will run at 1 ohm + 2 ohm, but a lot less power at 2 ohms, kicker will run at 2 ohm..
The pg is not ment to be one ohm stable, and they will put out roughly the same power at 2 ohms. With that said, after impedence rise, you could probably get away with it just fine..Both amps are very underrated.. Which should make the choice easy seeing you can get the rsd cheaper.. Plus you will have a matching system.

To tell ya the truth, I would not run 1200wrms daily to those PG RSd's.

They are great subs, but give em ~300-400wrms and be done w/ it. They will survive and love it. 1200wrms is pushing it though...but you will have headroom.

I have run them on an Autotek mm1000.1d before, but if you are a novice...don't give them that much. I have had beginners blow them w/ a PG 600.1 at the shop.

(clipping + retard = death)

try a kicker zx750.1 or the likes.

I'd much rather overpower by 100W than underpower by 200W.. And that's what happens when people think that gain is a volume control. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The subs would be seeing 600 watts a piece. I believe he was going to run 1 1200.1, and 2 rsd 12s The sds will do just fine with 600+

wow, those subs are svc 4 ohm subs, he wants 2. Therefore he needs an amp that does 1000 watts at 2 ohms. Seems the kicker fits the bill on this one. zx1000.1 ftmfw
the rsd1200.1 does 1200+ @ 2ohms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif A perfect mate aswell. Not to mention its a matching amp..
