hifonics hurt 15" l7??

ight i have my hifonics 1600 watt amp wired so its pushing the full 1600 watts to my kicker l7.. the thing im wondering if i turn the bass knob all the way up can it hurt the speaker?? is it bad that i have it hooked up this way??

and also i have it screwed to the box is that a bad thing to screw ya amps to the box>?

At least you have decent equipment.

Turn your bass boost completely off, and set your gain correctly (below half at least PLEASE)

Over time from vibrations the solder on the board of the amp will come loose and shit falls off.

set your gain correctly, with the "bass" knob all the way up. that way when you adjust it it will not go above what you set the gain at.

i had my amp on my box for three years! anything happen??? no! anything rattle loose? no! my new setup is obviously louder but i used rubber under the mounting feet, doesn't even rattle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yes, trun the bass boost off............and the loudness on the deck, because you probably have that on too.

Also I have had many amps on the back of my boxes with rubber feet and with out and never once had a problem...........ever! Now an amp flushed into the side of a trunk, had a problem with it. To me it don't matter, but you will get mixed reviews on it.
