Just bought an Hfi3000d off jpsaudio on here (great guy by the way, very easy to deal with, and gave me a really good price), and was wondering how much power it can actually push? I know it won't do rated, but was hoping for at least 2400-2500 at 1ohm? Assuming all electrical will be up to par. A lot of mixed opinions on these amps, but anyone who has actually owned one seems to have much higher opinions of them than anyone who hasn't.

I only actually "need" 1500 out of it and at the price point I thought why the hell not buy it, can always go bigger.

Any other thoughts or comments on the amp are welcome, positive or negative.

Cheers guys.

Being the hifi line i would expect what your looking for with maybe a tad more on a good day.
Everyone else is being nice at this point. lol
What I'm looking for being the 1500 I need or 2500 I'd like to hope the amp has in it?

Im thinking thats like an 1800 watt amp. Im trying to remember where I read it at.

Edit, I was mistaken. I dont know. :)

Have you hooked it up? How does it sound? If you wanna find out what rated is get an oscope and see when it clips then measure voltage? My line of thinking is though that these amps (and all hifonics amps) make decent power for a very affordable price. I run a bxi 2610@2ohms and it probably isnt making rated power but it sounds **** good and i got it for cheap allowing me to buy beer, food, gas etc... I would find a friend with an oscope and dont get caught up in numbers your box and tuning the system as well as deadener and even a higher quality head unit will make a more of a difference. On a little of a side note i have read (note:second hand not fact but i have read it more than once) that some of hifonics amps are rated at ridiculously high thd's. If you dont have an oscope i would set the gain conservatively. Just my thoughts...
