i had a bxi 2008 it was a power hungry amp. im not sure if it put out 2000 rms @ 1 ohm .

was told its about 10% over rated...

Looks like DC uses the same board in their new 2k

read alot, think im going with the hifonics brz2400.1 . 2400 rms cea rated. $40 more, but i still cannot find another amp for the same price new that puts out near 2500rms

i've seen 2 of the brz series amps tested, and both were underrated. the 2100 did 2300 and the 5 channel did 1150 @ 1 ohm rated @ 1000

I feel better about my purchase now Thanks! . i got tired of looking around last night and went ahead and ordered the brz2400 . and it shipped this morning already!

the brz is a stout amp. i installed one on a pair of 15 inch type r and it absolutely slammed in a good ported enclosure. very surprising.

I agree, I just heard a brz for the first time the other night..a 1200d...in a swap out with my Atomic 1500d, it was easily as loud for sure...it was only at 2ohms and was pushing 2 cvr's to their limit...

the brz are the same as the mbquart amps all are underrated got my 2400 for 276 shipped and love it
