hifonics hercules xx amps vs directed 1500d

i own a directed 1500d but i gonna buy l7 15 i want to no should i stick with my directed or go with the hurcules xx the directed puts out 1200 watts @ 1ohm the hifonics hurcules puts out 1100watts @2ohms 2000 watts @ 1ohm will the hifonics put out the power or is it overrated they are owned by maxxisonic now

i myself dont like nor ever did the directed amps we sold them for a while and got rid of anything directed. they were not bad amps but not the best out there either. myself i would without a doubt especially if you are looking at the xx line pick the hifonics over the directed. but to be honest your directed is more than enough to run a kicker l7 15 with no trouble at all.

i will get a hifonics xx amp over a directed any time.

Hifonics have some overrated lines of amps like the brutus or titan.

but the XX line is great... put rated power or more and are stable to very low loads.

Not saying the directed is a bad amp though

yeah to power some mids probably..... maybee if you ran the hercules at 27v and the kicker at 10v youd get similar power out of it....

i run a powerbass and i compete and im not 16 so any other comments that dont pertain to me? also have you actually used either of them, how do you know in fact that the hercules is better, i have a feeling that you have done no testing with any amp. btw my old viper put out more power then the hercules so whats you point about the viper? we test all of our amps so we know whats good and whats not we dont go by what others say.

Any #s to back any of this not saying the Kicker amp couldn't hand the Herc it's a$$, I've yet to test the kicker 2500.1. I will be pitting it against the Herc in the near future though & will get up all test results. Also anyone know off hand if the KX2500.1 will run for burps @ 16-18Volts?

i want to run the hercules-xx on a kicker L7 15 in a 5.6 cuft. sloted box i just want to know will this amp give me good clean power btw i also will be using soundstream bx-10 bass processer with 13volt outputs 100db signal to noise ratio and is the amp good enough for what i want i like kicker amps and subs not downing kicker in no way just want to try a different amp the what my friends have btw the iam out cranking them with 1 cvr 15 sloted in 5.6 cuft. box on a directed 1500d and what factor does signal to noise ratio play on the proformence of a amp
