Hifonics BXi2607D

I have a BXi2607D and am confused about the output rating. Are these amps really 2600wrms?

The booklet that came with the amp when I bought it (used) just says 2600W @ 1 ohm. Doesn't say RMS or Peak

Here is the 08 Brutus spec page, and it says RMS so I guess it is RMS?

i have that amp i had it hooked to 2 cvx's it pounded for like 10 minutes, anyway, 2600 @1ohm 1700@2ohm

rated 2600 at 1ohm rms, but they tend to be over rated. I would guess more around 2000wrms

yeah hifonics are always a little over rated. really need a 14v system to get what they say

pretty sure the 06 and up model have been making rated power.

i have a digital cap and it always read 12.8 ,ive always see on amp spec sheets (i.e. 1700 watts@2ohm 14.4volts) my question is how to get my charging system up to 14 volts?

does it read 12.8 with your car on or off? If it's on then rev your car to see if the voltage goes up, if it doesn't then something is wrong with your charging system
