5 channel AMP help PLEASE

I have a pioneer HU and planning on installing a 5 ch amp for speakers and sub. My head unit only has rca jacks for front and rear. what do i do for the sub ? or could someone explain to me how a 5 channel amp is wired up?

Most five channels will feed the sub channel of the internal crossover so all you will need is your four channels of input.
