I wouldn't do it and I have the 2608d.

There is some guy claming he has run his Bxi 1608d for over a year and a half at .50 ohms fine. How true he is being, I don't know.

Not something I would do.

Alright, I just know I can wire the subs down to 2 ohms or .5 ohms, just seein which would be better...

amp won't like 1/2 ohm load. you'd have to have flawless electrical to even stand a chance the amp would survive such abuse

Just run it at 2-ohms mang. Will make the amp last longer.
