Hifonics Bxi1606D or Txi1508D

I've been looking at both these amps to run possible 2 12 or 15 in. kicker comp vr or similar subs wired to a 1 ohm load. I can't really tell which amp is better. The cost is similar, the specs are similar. Any advice is greatly appreciated. And any recommendations for a sub that you think is better than the comp vr's that are priced about the same?
