Hifonics BXI 2607D?

Does anybody have any experience with them? Do they do rated power? I have heard rumors, but no proof, about the earlier models not making rated power. How reliable and durable are they? I have never used Hifonics so I am a little curious, I am thinking about getting 2 of them.

im sure that amp is just like the other hifoncs ones. it wont put out rated power, but prolly 17-1800

yeah my bad i just looked it up i thought i was at 2000, they usually run about 200-300 watts under power from what i have seen, but i havent heard anything on these so dont quote me, this is just from previous experiences

for the money i think you could get a better amp, even if its used

i have 4 of them. run them on a 12 volt system. had 2 of them @ .5 ohms all last summer. performed very well. got my 15'' R's very loud. i know they put out at least 2k at 1 ohms cuz i tested a rockford amp and they do over rated power and the hifonics was .1 louder. i still gotta test it but i would like to bring them to 1/4 ohm at finals next year

bxi2607d was .9 louder than bxi2006

bxi2006d was 1.1 louder than bxi1606d

i dont know how they do over long term. for daily they were @ .5 ohms but i wouldnt turn it up. the only time they took beating was on bassrace and drive by.

well for 450 you can get a crunch gp3000, which will do 3000-3500w and someone correct me if im wrong but i think it'll run at 16volts too
