Hifonics BXi 2607D???

I was wondering if anyone has experience with this amp, Hifonics BXi 2607D? I know Hifonics stuff is overrated power wise but was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on weather this would be a good budget amp. I would assume that it won't make its rated power of :

4 ohms: 850 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 1700 watts x 1 chan.

1 ohm: 2600 watts x 1 chan.

Any thoughts on what it would really put out at those ohm loads?

I have used hifonics before, but I was never a fan. Their prices are fair, but if you have the extra funds I would highly suggest looking at some better brands. Kicker is a great budget brand, that I would take over hifonics anyday.

kicker is not a budget brand....

For the price hifonics is hard to beat. Its a fairly reliable brand, and a few people on here run the larger amps.

Eventually you may want to upgrade to an amp that isnt such a current hawg. Overrated but I dont think its a bad deal. I plan on gettin my 05 brutus fixed (my fault it blew:verymad: )

my hifonics was fine w/ power... ran a bxi2006 on stock electrical and batt and it dimmed my lights less then a cheap *** 1000watt amp

Supposedly Hifonics stopped overrating their products as of 2006.

I believe their ratings are based on a 14.4v electrical, however.
