Hifonics BXi 1606D

Thinking about getting a Hifonics BXi 1606D for a single Alpine SWR-1242D - Alpine 12 (4 ohm) Got it in a 1.65 cf box tuned to about 35htz. Really want it to hit. Will this do it??

i'll agree with the 32 hz, but i think that 3.5 is too big for 1 type r.

I have a BXI1206D for two 12" Type Rs and that shit pounds. I'm sure that would bump loud as hell.

Thanks to all Just one more question. On my inline fuse from the Battery to the amp. What size fuse should that be. I just blow the fuse I think its a 20 or 30 cant see the markings. but i was running 2 Lanzar OPTI2X300D. on a 4 guage power cable. Would I need to change anything for when i get the Hifonics BXi 1606D? Or will that b ok for now?

the 1606 has 2x80A fuses. You really should go up to at least 2 ga, sometimes it's easier to find and about the same price to go with 1/0.

You'll also want an ANL fuse holder. 150A will be fine if that's your only amp. You can go as big as 200A with 2 ga, and 300 with 1/0.

BTW - how did you like your full-range class D Lanzar's?

I had that amp on a 12" SX and a 15" L7 before, pushed them both pretty good. You should be happy.

U know. Those Lanzars are pushing real good right now. I had added a Cap and made a differenxce. I might not get the BXi 1606D after all. I still havent installed the Alpine R but will give those Lanzars a Good Try 1st.

go to ebay and get welding wire, thats what I did and the guy printed whatever i wanted on the side of it and gave me whatever color I wanted.
