Hifonics BXi 1606D 1 Ohm Stable? Quality?

Hey just want to make sure the Hifonics BXi 1606D is stable and efficient at 1 ohm. Going to be powering 2 alpine type r 4ohms through it. I know the power is a bit overrated on it but has anybody here ran it on 1 ohm? Or run this amp in general? Just want a bit of details before i buy it. Thanks, and here the full specs and product.

Efficient? In terms of what?

That's not a 1 ohm load either.

Well I posted this late last night to just gain some input and generally the search function has never helped for specific questions I have. But I'm running the 2 alpine type r 4 ohm subs parallel down to 1 ohm..

2 4 ohm subs is either a 8 ohm or 2 ohm load

type r's are dvc so he means 2 dvc 4's which = 1 ohm parallel load

what darkist said lol. I don't know much but I knew they could be wired to 1ohm lol. Thanks for the help people.

how would the u.s. Amps xt4000d be compared to the hifonics? I have been told the hifonics was better.
