Hifonics bx1500d or kicker 1200.1

OK i have two kicker 12" L7's atm and i have a hifonics bx1500d powering both of them, i was wondering if i switched to the 1200.1 to power both of them you guys think i will hear a HUGE difference in how my subs hit? or will it be a little difference barely noticeable, i also heard rockford amps are sweet

id say the difference wont be that noticable.

you'll go from like 1300 - 1450 rms or so.

i like my kx 1200.1 because it NEVER gets hot. Im running it at 1 ohm and never has it ONCE gone into protect mode no matter the heat.

you'll probably be getting the same wattage so it would be a draw as for wether or not it'll be louder.

The KX series amps are made in China and Korea. I was definitely disappointed when I saw this on my boxes, but everything I've read has shown they go well beyond their rated output.

As for the BXD1500 from Hifonics, I've read the actual RMS output is closer to 1000w.

I think you'd have more power, IMHO a true 1450-1500 watts...

Kicker quality is much better IMO
