Hifonics BX1000D or MTX 801D???

Looking at these 2 amps for my type-r sub. Hifonics bx1000d and MTX 801d. Which one would you recommend?? I recently got a MTX 500D from e-bay and there was something wrong with it, so should I risk getting another used mtx amp or should I get the bx1000d(brand new)???

MTX hands down. I had a Hifonics for my 2 Type Rs that I just sold. I love MTX amps
