HiFonics BX1000d opinions

Looking into a HiFonics BX1000d to power either 1 15 or 2 12's(New Type R's) ,

1.Is HiFonics a pretty reliable and not overrated amp?

2.Would it be allright to run it at 1ohm as a daily driver?

no on both. it's overrated and doesn't like 1 ohm too much.

well do you have some suggestions on another brand, Orion maybe?

what's you budget? the orion would be a much better choice.

Its slightly overated might put out 1200 rms

I got a 1500 d and it is very stable @ 1 ohm daily

ok so is hifonics good or not, i got 1 good and 1 bad my budget is about 150-200

go to http://www.ikesound.com and look into a directed 1500D or viper d1200.1. if you search the forums, you'll find numerous posts about hifonics. there are people who have had success with them, but i think more people have had bad experiences. i know i did.

ya, thats where i found the hifonics at ikesound, i just saw the directed and was about to post about it but you beat me to it
