Hifonics brz2100.1d vs. Planet audio BB2400.1

i just got the bb2400.1 and it seems to be a pretty solid amp other than the cheap screw mounts. i bought a new hifonics 1600 and it completely ******, by far the worst amp ive ever had. next i got a rockford 1000 @ 2 ohms, and now i am running a planet bb2400.1 @ 1200 rms or so @ 2 ohms, and its a definate improvement over the rockford. the only other bad thing about the bb2400.1 is the led on the bass knob is bright as ****, it will blind u at night.

hope this helps and if you have any questions feel free to mssg me

im pretty happy with the my bb2400.1.... i need to reset y gaind because they are set for 2100rms and set with the wrong freq. my box is peaking high.

still havnt got to term lab it fully yet. last time i comp'd i was havin a wiring problem but i should have that fixed now. but yea overall. the big bang series is sold

dont get me wrong its still planet audio but definalty solid amp

Oh I am not putting ur choice down.. Or atleast I did not mean to but u seem to just be swapping amps out that are rated the same and sinking more and more and more money for no real difference. But to each his own...

But have u gained anything by doing this?
actually i did gain from the other PA rxd i had. hell its as loud as my saz i had if not louder db wise. the best i did with the saz was 145.6 or .7. i did a 145.9 with this bb2400 until it shut off.(fuse block short). and my gains are set incorrectly as far as my tuning goes.

Was both test done in the exact same box, car, tuning???

hm... box no lol... the tunning yes. blazer yes.... the saz was used in a diff box, and the rxd was used in the same box as the saz, needless to say the saz walked on the rxd. ... the gain is set diff on this bb2400 tho. i wasnt sure on my tuning, i used a 41hz tone(it sounded like it peaked lower at first) to set it with a dmm. i need to set it to 50hz. my truck peaks high still for some reason. i dont mind that its does peak high long as the numbers are decent. so i may be able to gain a bit more after i set the gains correctly.
