Alright, surfing cragislist I found a guy selling a Hifonics Brutus amp. Thats all he said for it because it was in a big for sale thread. He wants 140 for it BNIB. Don't know the model number, but I am getting it later after work. I don't know much about hifonics, or there amps, but isn't the brutus thier higher line? any input is welcome, like if this is a good amp for that price.

depends what model

You need to know what your

buying, there are some hifonics

brutus (606 608) that are not

worth that used.

I'd say no to txi line.

Is the name of the company hifonics brutus or just hifonics and brutus is the name of the line of amps?

brutus is a line of amps from hifonics, owned by maxxsonics I believe

find out what the model number is (607,1208,2606,1507,something like that)

and it should say bxi on it

they are good to a certain point. im willing to bet its the 606 and i have the same exact one. its not bad but you could get better. the Brutus series dont do the rated power

I bought a 1606 once for about 170 used, **** good price if you tell me, might be a 1206-5

Guy just emailed me back saying he has 2 much larger hifonics amps as well, and a very large lanzar amp he is currently using, I think he has 2 15's in his expo.
