I got the hifonics brutus 2008 and the cable for the gain knob got ripped out of the 8 pin plug in for the amp. I went and bought the new pins for the end of the cable and the crimper to fix the wire. I put the wires in just like the other one was and when i plug it back into the amp, the red light on the gain knob comes on and it goes into protect. Does anyone know how to fix this?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

In pulling out it may have shorted something internally on the knob, or worst case scenario on the amp.. Try buying a new knob first, if that doesn't fix it, your amp's remote gain input is toast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.
