i friend of mine has a shop and well he gives me discounts...i could tell him to hook me up with 2 12's cheap...specially right now x-mas is almost coming so im sure he will hook me up with some...

You think so??? Ive looked around and 2 brand new 12" Kicker CompVX for $280.00 is decent...i think?.? lol We are talking about CVX not CVR right? The New versions of the Re Audio SE"s are 289.00 for 2 shipped.

You think you could give me some pros and cons. I like both and it seems more people are suggesting the SE's but noones saying anything bad about the CVX's. The question is over! After thinkiing now for some time i decided I am going to be getting 2- 12" 4ohm Re Audio Se's now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Now my question is will i be overpowering these subs too much?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

The subs combined will give me 1200 watts rms (will be wiring them down to 1Ohm) . My Hifonics BXI1608D amp puts out 1600 watts rms @ 1ohm. I know ppl say that hifonics amps are a bit ok so it should work out about right, but i just want the most bang for the buck with my cheap decent setup.
