Hifonics Amp is this the right watts? Check me please.

I have a stock 136 Amp Alt so I figured the Hifonics 1608D like this. Two 10 inch Kicker CVR wired to 1Ohm.

12.4 times 100 =1240 times 60% = 744 which would mean 372 Watts per speaker?

why the hell are you at 12.4? do 13.3.. that should be full tilt for you with that amp and your alt

if you have good electrical you'll be able to get the full 1600(or close to it) at 1ohm so you could be getting ~800 to each speaker

Thank you for all the help, I am new to this so I am still trying to get it all down. I was also wrong on the fuse it is a 140 Amp fuse and not a 100 amp fuse. So my math was way off. Looks like I am over pushing my 10 inch CVR's so that might be where the smell is coming from. Thank you

Yes, I would watch the gains with that amp on a couple CVR's. IIRC those are 400rms correct? So with good electrical, you would be pushing those subs.
