I'm pretty sure it takes as big as 4ga

why would they put 4awg inputs if it couldnt handle it?

4 gaauge wont take more than like 125 amps,unless its like a 12 foot wire

my 4 gage has 150 amp fuse on it from stinger, so it can handle up to 150 for sure, i have 160 amps running off it right now with no problems

the 2006 has 2awg inputs the 1606d has 4

hey i just ordered a hifonics 1606d and it wouldnt turn on if i plugged rca into input do u think it could have been from too small of remote it was like 16 awg

remote can be 20+ gauge and not be a problem.

thought so but since its got 2x80 fuses that aint gonna cut it

well maybe it doesnt use the full fuse rating,cuz 4 gauge is just not gonna hold 160 amps unless its 12-13 ft.and i dont see a 1600 watt amp using that much power unless its very underrated or very unificent,and 16 awg remote wire is fine

how do the 1606 d's do on like a 105 amp alt?just wondering if it will fall below 12 volts.im getting a ho alt just dont have the cash right now
