kicker 1500 is $450 at it's cheapest price used. I bought my 1606d for $170.

I would say the hifonics is the better deal

you could find a 1500.1 right here for cheaper than 450, more like 300-350 shipped...

also you cant really compare the two since one is 1ohm stable and the other is 2ohm stable its cheaper to find power at 1ohm at 1500rms than 2ohms

I would like to pencil in Sundown SAZ-1500d, even though I voted for Kicker.

If you are trying to save a buck and wish to continue being held back by "the man" go with the HiFonics. All kidding aside, they aren't that bad for the money but I'll never buy a new one because I owned a Zeus V1 when I was in high school....

If you want something that will deliver rated power or more and don't mind spending more $$, get the Kicker!

ive heard both amps on the same exact box and subs and the kicker sounds much cleaner and tighter sounding.

higher S/N ratio.

Last.

Won't lose a lot of value over time in case of resale

Hifonics makes decent amps, don't get me wrong, but if you can afford to go beyond a budget setup. This is what to get.

yeah I say kicker of course. Does rateed power plus some with some nice electrical. I stay hovering around 12.9 to 13.4 volts on my system. I have no big 3 or a strong battery up front. So I know I get around 1500rms out of it, but it was benched closer to 1700. Like 1650 or something like that. i'm guessing these two amps side by side benched you'll see more like a 400-500 watt difference, and the kicker will be more efficient...

of course itll be more efficient, its rated at 2ohms vs the hifonics at 1
