Well i was thinking of running a brutus 1500 but recently have heard some negative opinions about em. i am looking for testomonials from ppl who have USED them personally not someone who's best friends brother runs one. Negative and positive comments welcome. Also if anybody else knows of a comparably priced amp that puts out roughly 1500w@1ohm let me know

i think its a good budget amp. could be a little better, such as over all quality, but for close to 1500 watts and only 245 bucks, with all the features of the bigger amps, it isnt too shabby at all.

yeah i don't really expect this thing to be the greast thing since sliced bread just something to bang some bass. the rest of my system is awesome in the sq area so...

not a horrible amp; not a stable amp; not bad for the price (unauthorized or matched). for a few bucks more, get something else.

I have one inbox sitting in my basement waiting on RMA #. after 1 1/2 weeks use.

My name is Nick, and I've approved this message.

they seem pretty popular on the internet, alot of people own them so your going to get alot of varied opinions. i feel safe purchasing one, i seen many higher end subs on realms of excursion that get pushed just fine by hifonics amps. i sold my rf 800a2 for one, i don't mind trying out new stuff, so we will see how it does.

i had one... bought off ebay... lasted me 2 days... sent it back... got another... lasted me 2 months...ran it at 1 ohm for the 2 days... and then at 4 ohms for 2 months... maybe i got them from a bad dealer because i had ordered 2 from 2 different sellers for my friend and he had 2 l7 15's and 2 bx1500's and ran them for months and months before he took the system out...

I ran a Hifonics BX 1500D for about a year and a half and the only reason I got rid of it is because I started to get more and more into SPL so I had to have more power (believe it or not). The 1500D is a very good amp, you will certainly not be disappointed. I would highly recommend getting it from Sounddomain. Well, first go find it for cheaper on another web site and then get Sounddomain to do a price match. Or simply go to ebay and get one for about $245, but I can't promise that you'll get much of a warranty. Just shop around before you buy.

Yep, at the amplifiers. I get the same 14.7 volt reading when they cutoff too.

Yes, they are painted. The cover is very easy to take off and repaint to whatever color of choice to match the install.
