What is this amp actually making at full tilt? I have it on a Rockford Fosgate T0 12in. The amp is seeing 2Ohms. It has 4GA power and ground and 12GA Kicker speaker wire. It says it should be making 750watts RMS at 2Ohms. But Hifonics might be a bit overrated so I was thinking more like 700 maybe. But how much is it giving my sub at full tilt? I have the gain about 3/5th of the way turned up because I'm scared about clipping.

Is it the HFI1000? Those amps are overrated a tad...at 2 ohms you would probably be seeing like 600-650w out of the amp before rise. After rise you might be seeing anywhere from 300-500w.

Sell that Hfi and get an AQ1200 used or something. Or if you have deeper pockets, the 2200 which typically will run you around 300 shipped for a used one. Expensive compared to the audiopipe, yes, but worth every penny. Trust me, I owned audiopipe and it worked but switching from that to an AQ2200 was like night and day. Voltage drops less, sub will heat up less from the decrease in clipping, and the amp is more reliable in every aspect.

Holy **** my sub heats up wayy too much on my setup now. I just noticed how much it heated up tonight when I hit my arm on it. Freakin ridiculous.

Edit: And I would save a little and get an AQ amp but I'm wanting to get 2 DC audio level 3 12's or two 15's. Not sure if I should get two DC Audio level 3 12' or 15's or just get another Rockford Fosgate T0 and call it a day. Any advice?

I think you would happier with the DC's as they are all around better woofers than that T0. Your local craigslist would eat that right up
