I drive an extended cab and im going to put some kind of stereo back there sometime this coming up month

it's an extended cab f150 and im thinking something like 2 12"s, but to do that I'll need to take out my rear bench seat

so when i have 2 12" subs in a bigass box and out in the open like that, how can I hide it? I don't want people just walking by and seeing the subs

what do you extended cab guys do? My windows are tinted but im scared someone will still see and that they will break in my truck

If i could fit it all under the seat i would but there is like this big *** metal hump under the seat, that and there's just not any room under there...not even for a couple of 8's

I would "A" rather build something to fit your car. Or "B" go to your local car audio store (ex: Al and Eds, any type of custom place) and they will build you something for around $100-$200. It's really up to you. If you have the skills to do it, do it yourself. If you have the money, take it somewhere. I've seen custom boxes for your truck and they look sick.

The problem is i have a 95 f150 (square style, not the newer) and there's NO room for subs under the back seat or anywhere I can think of..

The problem is there's no room under the back seat (it's only about 4 and a half inches off the ground, but then halfway back there's a huge hump)

so im going to just get rid of the seat and mount my box back there unless anyone knows anything else i could do

blanket

thats what i use and i got double tint in all my truck except the windshield and hte front two doors....

also comprehensive insurance with a good insurance company just incase it still gets broken into. theirs a topic thats stickied on here that you should take a look at to. thiefs usually go for the eazier cars to break into...

X1000 on the blankets, i have a old 4runner and you can see in the back and i cover the amp and sub w/ a towel, works wonders........I also park my car by the oakland A's stadium for my hockey games, which is in a bad part of oakland and yet still no robberies //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
