those bulbs are so old they are not that blue tsx cutoffs are insane.sold the tsx's now she has my ls430s(i cut the reflector off the ls 430 because it came out my dts, and wont fit in a gtp)

camera phone pics sorry

if you go with projectors dont put in anything higher than 4300k. it will colorshift in 100 hrs and white light thru a prizm = rainbow cutoff. i would say fx-r bixenon off ebay retrosolutions makes them(they're replicas of fx 35/45s). and yes hidplanet is a very good place for research and ideas im a member on that site.

some of my retros (got much better)are on my cardomain pages, currently working on a clients dts in canada.

heres some more i did

worth it, just dont get a retarded *** high temp, anything above 6500K is stupid and defeats the purpose of having an hid kit.

i have 6500k and it lights up the road nicely, plan on getting 3000k kit for my fogs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

^^^just as long as its stanley its manly lol, fogs would take care off foreground issues. and bixenons are a plus. wish i had bixenons, dont have hi beams on my gtp:bawling:

truck has foglights on it, ill prolly just leave them halogen.

my car has the fx35 bixenon's (oem 4300k) and also a foglight retro with 3000k.

i like it. and looks like both projectors are in a line (headlight and fogs)

im waiting on certifit to restock 98-02 camaro fogs projectors(23 bucks a piece they use 880 bulbs, same as my fogs) so i can finish up my gtp

If you are looking for the best light output, honestly 4300k and projectors are the way to go. Unfortunately I don't have anywhere near the type of skill required to retro into my truck or I would.

TL/TSX projectors or LS430 projectors are the best. Lexus has a mad cut off line.

in my experience ive had jus bout every type of headlight theyve made and goin wit hids helps u see way better. i have 8ks on both of my trucks and yes they are bright but if u position ur headights right u wont blind oncomin traffic. and if they still gotta a problem with it screw them, they should tint their windshield. i did and headlights arent a problem for me. ha.

HID conversion is very worth it.. if you do it right.

I'd suggest a complete retrofit.. either TL, TSX, FX35, or S2k projectors.. some Denso ballasts or similar.. and some Phillips/Osram bulbs

I did a retro in my lights with some FX35s.. night and day diff.. its amazing.
