Hi/Low pass freq on my amp. HELP

Turn the knob till it sounds best //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif There are too many variables for use to tell you where to set it to. Just use whatever sounds best in your setup.

Thats what I was going to do but I want to be sure that I dont set it to a level where it can be "dangerous" for daily driving

Another question...im running the subs @ 1 ohm. I want to get about 1,000watts rms to each sub. Do I do the sqrt of 1,000 which is 31.6 or the sqrt of 2,000 which gives me 44.7? I think sqrt of 2,000 just making sure.

umm yea you take the sqrt of 2000.

as for the LPF stuff, shouldn't there just be a knob or switch thing on there that has three options: LPF, HPF, Pass. Just choose LPF and then set it to then frequency you want.

Nope. There are three holes which you adjust them with a flathead. One for setting the gain, the other two for LPF and HPF. I guess from reading all this im leaving the HPF all the way down and the LPF to where I like it.

If your amp is capable of putting out 2000w RMS at 1 ohm then take the square root of 2000.

Oops- 2500D, go for it then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Is there no SSF on that amp? Since there is no switch to use LPF/HPF I am thinking that Orion uses their HPF as a SSF... That will mean that where this is set is dependant upon your box tuning.
SSF No I didn't see a SSF filter unlike other amps that I have owned. About where should I set it if im tuned to 35hz? 35?
