Hey I was wondering about where would you guys set your high/low pass freq level on my orion 2500 amplifier? Im running two 15" L7s.
OK so I adjust only the LPF and leave the High all the way down?Set it to LPF, and aim for ~70Hz or so, it doesnt have to be exact.
Thats what I was going to do but I want to be sure that I dont set it to a level where it can be "dangerous" for daily drivingTurn the knob till it sounds best //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif There are too many variables for use to tell you where to set it to. Just use whatever sounds best in your setup.

Nope. There are three holes which you adjust them with a flathead. One for setting the gain, the other two for LPF and HPF. I guess from reading all this im leaving the HPF all the way down and the LPF to where I like it.umm yea you take the sqrt of 2000.
as for the LPF stuff, shouldn't there just be a knob or switch thing on there that has three options: LPF, HPF, Pass. Just choose LPF and then set it to then frequency you want.
Another question...im running the subs @ 1 ohm. I want to get about 1,000watts rms to each sub. Do I do the sqrt of 1,000 which is 31.6 or the sqrt of 2,000 which gives me 44.7? I think sqrt of 2,000 just making sure.

Oops- 2500D, go for it then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Is there no SSF on that amp? Since there is no switch to use LPF/HPF I am thinking that Orion uses their HPF as a SSF... That will mean that where this is set is dependant upon your box tuning.People are telling me to set the HPF at 20hz and the LPF at around 70hz. Is this a decent setup?
SSF No I didn't see a SSF filter unlike other amps that I have owned. About where should I set it if im tuned to 35hz? 35?Is there no SSF on that amp?
