I'm not arguing with adaptation at all. That has been proven over and over again, and there's no need to question it.

Macroevolution makes zero sense to me. The thought that we all came from a common ancestor is completely unproven, and doesn't make any sense logically.

REligions feed off ignorance. Anything we dont understand... is God. Look how many things were considered divine work until science proved otherwise, so the church simply revised their beliefs to no longer include these things.
Darwinism:

The church originlly condemned Darwin's theories at best, and at worst tried to keep them from being well known. It wasn't until 1950 tht the Pope said Christinity had no opposition Darwinism, and not until 2006 that it stated it accepted evolution as "the theory of evolution provides a fruitful and unifying scientific explanation for the emergence of life on earth, that many theological interpretations of origins can readily embrace an evolutionary outlook, and that an acceptance of evolution is entirely compatible with an authentic and living Christian faith.". Basically the church STILL ignoring that evolution completely opposes Christian belief in the beginning and subsequent life of it.

"The Church of England is considering the possibility of apologising posthumously to Darwin, for its earlier condemnation of his theory."

So basically Darwin was right, it took the church generations to admit it, and even upon admitting it they still say their religios beliefs are correct and do not oppose the theory of evolution.

Glileo, you know, the guy who said the earth was not the center of the universe, but tht the sun was, and we revolve around it... any of you religious zelouts remember how religion treated him? He was forced to recant his theories and live under house arrest the final several years of his life. Why? For daring to oppose the Catholic chruch's fundamentl beliefs... so what if he was right.

Shall I list more ways in which religion has 'evolved' to fit itself into the modern world where we are not nearly so ignorant as we use to be? Faith, why should we have it when we see so many things that previous generations were told to take on faith alone, and were wrong. Why should we have it when we've seen the religions of the world change their story every time science proves they are full of shit?

For the sake of this argument, I just don't believe in the theory of evolution. Telling me all the stupid things the Pope has done adds nothing to this argument.

I'm just a firm believer that evolution is nothing but a theory, and it's just as wrong to have this taught to students as fact, just like it's wrong to teach the Bible to kids in school as fact.

Sooooo.... you refuse to believe its real until you yourself dig up the 'missing link'? Or do you think Jesus sat all those bones out in the dirt for us to find, but left that one missing link just to prove its not real? Or maybe you think fossils are some vast left-wing conspiracy by Democrats?
