I am searching Youtube right now for a video to blame Obama's re-election on!!!!.......lol........this has got to be someone else's fault....dammit....lmao
It was a close race, Romney just didn't get some key swing states... Just looked on politico, Florida is so close they still haven't called it.

I found that topic, marijuana legalization, to be a much bigger issue than who was voted in as president. I lived in california for several years, I saw first-hand the problems the decriminalization of medical marijuana caused between the state and fed. In the war between federal power, and state's rights, marijuana is the front line. And make no mistake, it is a war. The state of california issues legal business licenses to marijuana dispensaries, draws taxes from the dispensaries, and then the feds (DEA) raids these businesses like they are any other illegal drug dealing operation. Its crazy. And 2 states just took huge leap forward in that war, pushing the fed back even harder.
States rights versus federal power... sound familiar? This is American Civil War type shit guys. This isn't just about bong rips and munchies... this is likely to get serious one of these days.
Agreed but personally I think we have bigger problems now at least for the next 4 years... But we shall see what happens

Wouldn't matter if it was Osama or Robme....the US is still going to go further in debt. Until you get rid of the environmentalists, and the PETA's, and the extremest groups.....the country will be held back.

Heck, look at the pipeline from Canada that got shut down. Wouldn't have mattered who was in office...the people called it. That would have created massive amounts of jobs and revenue for the US. Does Canada care who buys their oil.....nope. US turns their nose up at it, while China sits there with arms wide open.

That is the US now.....not willing to embrace anything. The US turns their noses up to good business decisions because of the minorities. Guess what.....catering to minorities has hurt Canada a lot. Australia told the minority groups to get out. They have their rules and system, and are stronger for it.

AGREED..........I read an article a while back how the founder of Greenpeace got out of the organization because when the Communist Soviet Union fell from power years ago all of the communist activists needed a new venue.....They needed a new way to stop Capitalism so BAM!!!.....Now they are Environmentalists.......I am not saying that ALL of them are communists but there ARE communist activists in that group........They will do whatever is necessary to stop projects like the Keystone Pipeline and this country from moving ahead with any Capitalistic goals in mind.......

Actually that pipeline for the most part wanted to use foreign steel, foreign workers and send the oil overseas. It also had a lot to do with the way they conduct business, trying to have people's land condemned instead of giving them a fair price on it. There is a lot more than environmental issues on that whole deal.

We have made most of our problems ourselves. Everyone looking for the cheapest product pushing manufacturing overseas. I believe there are a lot of people that want a job that cant find one. If people would look for American made products and spend the extra money to purchase it we would have a much stronger economy. Buying local instead of over the internet, to support people who support their community would give you stronger schools, police, fire, rescue, and better roads. Of course everyone complains the prices are to high, but I never hear of anyone saying they make to much money? The American worker has also gotten lazy, showing up late if at all, complaining about everything, and doing the bare minimum at work, makes you wonder why they are shifting jobs overseas and hiring immigrants. Even the Americans who work basically expect employee welfare.

We have some of the cheapest gas prices in the world and people bitch. But they still buy the biggest trucks and suvs they can get, drive to fast and to much, and complain it's the Presidents fault.

We are reaping what we are sowing as people. Why would we expect the government to balance it's budget when most Americans are in debt up to their eyeballs. Always needing the latest and greatest, biggest and best.

I think if Americans themselves would pull their heads out of their collective asses we could fix the country no matter who the President is.

I voted for Romney. I am afraid what Obama is going to do, but hopeful that maybe something good will happen. I respect the position he holds and pray for him and his family.

Yeah I know there were other issues with the pipeline I was just using it for an example.....So called Environmentalist are always standing in the way of those kinds of projects..... I believe the oil drilling industry has ran into these guys as well........

Umm....

Foreign steel - because the US doesn't make it.

Foreign workers - Canadians had the contract to the border than US workers were to take over at the border.

Send the oil overseas - Umm....it was to go to US refineries. If it was to go overseas, Canada would just do what they are doing anyway. Sending it to the coast to be shipped out.

Condemned Land - Land owners tried gouging the oil companies for prices to cross land. Very common practice. Land owners always forget about royalties they receive after the line is in, and passed. I know....I used to pipeline for a living and had to deal with many landowners. Indians/Natives are the worst to deal with. As far as fair price.....who sets the price. Whoop whoop....they pay for the replacement of crop lost, and for any damages. They have to reseed the land, and return it to as good or better than when they arrived. Plus the land owners get a bonus for the time used for being on the land. Many times a farmer has had his property bypassed because of greed. Same with drilling for oil.....if the farmer wants too much, talk to his neighbor and directional drill under his land and hoover it all out.
