If they are anything like UPS, they dont give a ****. If they didnt package it then they wont pay you. And then they will tell you how a **** sub is not worth that much and on and on and on. UPS sucks. I had them pack a very expensive guitar amp and upon arrival, the amp was fuxored. I filed a claim at least 3 months ago and still have yet to see anything. In fact, I went to the very branch I shipped it from and saw it lying there on the floor. After talking with the manager, she informed me that the owners were fighting with the insurance company. The insurance company claims that the package was not packed right, but UPS themselves packed it so no argument there. Even still, I haven't seen a dime yet.They should take responsibility. I'm sure they'll get you a new one, though it may take some time. A buddy of mine had ordered 2 8800GTX video cards (computer parts) and Intel Q6600 Processor which totaled about $2400. Something happened to it during shipping and on one of the video cards the heatsink / fan came un attached and the other one cracked in half, processor was fine thankfully. After lots of B****ing and moaning to DHL, they followed up with the seller and ended up getting him a replacement. Be aware, it took him about 10 weeks to receive the replacements though. They're problem, they **** when it comes to shipping delicate items from my experience, but do a great job shipping corporate things like papers and whatnot //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.
So all in all, You will probably end up receiving a new one, whether it's in 2007 or not is up in the air though.

IMO, DHL is a pretty good shipper. they are the only shipping company i would ship oversea's with. they put UPS and FEDEX to shame with shipping to Europe.
