Hey Christians

Your mother may be a *****, but I have the respect not to call her that in front of you, your friends or in private for that matter. If I can be tolerant of your non-belief why can you not show the same respect?
what? then explain why i get a PM about this shit and why its polluting my INBOX!!!

I just couldnt believe a book that has over the years been altered and changed so much, tons of the stories in it are made up and there is proof of that.
yeah and the section about where jesus had a homosexual relationship conveniently got cut out...... ironic isnt it.

YEAH THATS RIGHT.... JESUS LIKED THE WEINER!

when i brought that up to my grandma she almost had a heart attack.... id feel bad if i killed my grandma //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

non-believers aren't threatened.. they are entertained by it.. Atleast I am.. Especially by all the ones(christians, catholics.. religious fokes in general) who will say they are this or that but know nothing about it.. Or just blindly follow it.. To not question it is just ignorant.. Also the pope and all the cardinals and what not a just straight bullshit... Religion in a whole is bullshit.. To believe in god is different.. I don't BELIEVE... I hope there is.. otherwise wtf is this?
Non-believers are threatened by the mathematics that the payoff is greater for belief vs. non-belief. If they aren't, then they **** at math and should jump off the nearest bridge to temp gravity as well.

so if god made us.....who made god:confused:

it seems to me allot of you (not all) choose to be christians because it seems like the ....safe bet.....if you dont believe youll go to hell.......thats called fear not faith.....so really your just scared and deep down really dont even have belief.....therfore ill see you in hell.
Faith can be based on adverse outcome. That is not necessarily fear.

Fear is wishing to avoid adverse outcome; conversley I am hoping my lifestyle conforms to a "normative" outcome. A normative outcome means going to heaven...people may change behavior, not to avoid hell, but to achieve entrance to heaven. To say, as you did, that the majority is risk averse, is false.

Not in the USA anyway. The USA overwhelming choses "heaven" in assymetrical payoffs.

No it was a point used in a debate! Once again your not being scientific in your arguements
this was my first post on the topic so its not "once again" and i said some.... not YOU..no need to be scientific when im saying it seems with some it seems more fear than faith

the fact is im not totally a non believer but i am very skeptical. the older i get the more and more i dont believe but since there is no absolute set in stone proof either way im the kind of person that always sees two sides of a story so until i know for sure i wont make complete judgment. id say im 85/15 though on the non believer side as the story is just so ridiculous its unbelievable.
with that said i have been attacked on several occasions for being a non believer. hell my grandma does it on a regular basis lol ive even been told by a man at her church, after i dropped my grandma off at church and didnt come in, that there would be a special place in hell for me for not going to church... if my grandma werent right there i would of kicked his ***. (back story that nice christian got thrown in jail 2 weeks later for indecent exposure after flashing little kids wearing nothing but a trench coat in a walmart. only a couple steps away from raping little boys like the catholics)

and best thing about debating with christians is that once they see they cant change your mind they always go to the same line. "well wouldnt you rather believe just in case there is a god so you dont go to jail?" i love that. it always makes me laugh so hard, like church is a new insurance policy.

were not exactly threatened by your faith, its like the thread i just saw about the guy that tested a bullet proof vest by letting his friend shoot him point blank, we just cant believe some people can be so stupid and believe all these crazy stories. christians laugh at scientologists but the fact of the matter is the stories arent all that different and they are both equally crazy.
Believe what you want how it makes sense to you. I am one of the few that will admit the foundation for my faith is mathematics. It is a game theory math problem in which the solution requires faith. I belive very strongly in what I know about game theory. Thus, faith is the optimal solution. I don't see why many people contest that so much. I am thinking is it a lack of formal education in math and economics.

u forget i am from tn too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
ah yes! I was't sure what side you are on though.

I am being scientific in my argument. I am not certain quoting the Bible is near scientific.

Yes but like I stated before there are too many religions to choose from there for if one of the choices is even correct you have a higher chance mathematically to fail.. And just because a mass majority picked christianity it makes it the right choice? No.. Most of the so-called christians don't even know about their own religion let alone any of the others... the followed the group

It is unfortunate that you have such distane (sp?) for our faith. you point could be made while keeping your hate hidden by simply chosing better words., but to each his own.
what did i say that was all that hateful? i used the word dam n..... i apologize for my vulgar words haha

i figure even christians were smart enough to question a book written by man. i mean it was written by someone you didnt know. i bet if your friend came over right now at told you a story that just happened you would think that story was so exaggerated and you probably wouldnt believe most of it. what makes you think these stories written thousands of years ago arent so unbelievable skewed and exaggerated that who knows if there are any facts in the book. right?

sucks when common sense comes into the argument. do you still believe in the easter bunny and santa clause?
