HERTZ Speakers

I was curious to know who know's about this brand Hertz. I am shopping for some new components and I heard a set of Hertz speakers they sounded really really good. just wanted some feed back from others who know about this brand.

The salesman told me they are owned by Audison. Which if that's true that's good because I have been looking at there Lrx line.

Actually, they are owned by elettromedia, who owns Audison, Audison connection( wires) and Hertz. n00b salesman..

And what are you basing this statement on? That is very subjective. Why do you feel that Focal is the best? Give technical data and comparisions when making such an opinionated statement. It would help those who are trying to decide which speaker to purchase and why. Just a thought.

No set of speakers are going to be the best to every ear. Just because you like them, doesn't mean they are going to sound better to him.

First of all I think you need something to back up your statment with. When you get rid of your kickers, put in a sealed enclosure and actually run some K2Ps or berrilliums then we will take your opions on SQ seriously. LOL Sorry just had to let that out

But, in the recent car audio issue the Hertz MLK 165 beat out the Morel Supremos. That is only there mid level range componet set.

Most people have not even heard the Hertz stuff so can't even make a proper comparison or give a good opinion. I am also willing to go out on a lim and say you have not auditioned a set of Hertz components. Because if you did you would never make that statement.

Focal is a good component but too bright for me and have good mid bass. But I can tell you that for me the Hertz is a perfect blend of mids and highs. Hertz is the way to spell SQ. Not to metion the sexiest component set out on the market today.

Here is my system setup. I have look and compared alot of speakers prior to making my final choice.

Source Unit(s): Eclipse CD7100

Front Speaker(s): Hertz Millie MLK 2

Sub(s): Hertz Millie ML3000

Amplifier(s): Audison LRx 5.1K

Other: Kinetik KHC 1400 Power Cell

Sound Deadening: Hushmat Ultra- entire car except for roof I have

T-Tops

I agree with you. I love my HSK's and to me they sounded better than the focals I listened too. I didn't get a chance to audition the MLK's but I heard mine and the Spaces and the Spaces even sounded more spectacular than most other comps. I also auditioned the Kicker SS comps, and my Hertz sounded smoother.

That means absolutely nothing. It has already been established that the idiots in that magazine install every speaker the exact same way, while some speakers shine at playing off axis, and ect..
