hertz mlk2 questions

hello:

i have a local dealer i am working with who wants to sell me these for $850. I think they sound amazing but want to be sure i am not getting goosed here. another dealer in the area wants $1200 so it seems to be 'a good deal.' am i right? are these components worth it? they sound amazing in the display however, would appreciate some opinions.

additionally, the same dealer has the hsk 163 3 way comps but they are not hooked up in the display to listen to for $700.

i am leaning towards the mlk's however, i want to be sure the price is acceptable. i want to purchase from an authorized dealer to receive the full hertz warranty.

From what I've read they're supposed to be worth the cash if you have the need for great sound. Most of us will try something cheaper that's somewhat comparable, but those speakers are just that costly not anyone trying to goose you, that's what they do go for. People who have money buy them as benchmarks, they are supposed to be really good. Take this opinion loosely though as I've never had the dough to blow, simply 0 personal experience haven't heard them either, maybe someone on here has heard them.

yeah. lol. at myself. i was actually looking at mlk165's not mlk 2's. still they are nice speakers. no place around me even has the mlk 2's in stock. sorry for the misinformation. i wish i could afford $1700 speakers for my car.
