I see many of you stating that you are pleased with the quality and performance of the Hertz lineup. I am looking to install a 6.5" set and would like to know what models you prefer and why. My budget is around $500.

i have there lowest line and i liked them. the tweeters were really bright though, even cutting some higher frequencies leval. i bet they would be nice. for 500$ you have alot of options.

If your going active, id consider the PHD FB pro 6.1 woofers, and NVX XSPTW tweeters.

Where can you find the 165XL for 500? Are you talking just the 6.5s or the component set?
