here here can replace a fet on a JL 250.1

I'm pretty sure that I read when replacing fet's you should always replace all of them so they match both model and batch numbers and everything. I'm not sure if just one fet will make a difference, but I remember reading this.

Just wanted to let you know.

replacing those transistors may not fix the amp...fyi ....it might have a problem that made it go up in smoke that you cant see.....but heck...try it out , you got a 50/50 shot of if working...or going up like a fire cracker again....either way it will be cool...lol

wow.. i just failed spicly, lol
thanks for clearing that up

i have no idea why i didnt know that, lol
I'm here to help //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm actually sure a LOT of people on here aren't sure of the meaning of MOSFET though.

IIRC There are no markings on the fets JL used in those amps, so there is no way to tell what you would replace them with...

sending it into a JL authorized repair center is probably your only option... and BTW, rarely will only one or two fets blow..
