.
should i? i already ordered the btl with dual .7 coils and i wanted to get the most out of my amp, but now im having doubts. i know the herc will do .5 daily fine but .35 is getting down there.

i figured after impedance rise id be around 1 or more most likely....but even gotslap who knows hercs said he wouldnt recommend it. should i do this or wire it to 1.4? i think id see a very noticeable difference between .35 and 1.4. like 600-800 watts difference.

yay or nay?

match subs to an amp......

match an amp to subs.....

usually that is key before everything is purchased //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

herc was purchased a long time ago....btl was purchased 3 days ago...and i figured impedance rise would help me enough but now im having doubts.

hopefully fi gets my email before it ships out...im gettin it changed to dual 1.4.

i think im just gonna do it anyway....impedance rise is definitely gonna help me out a lot....and if i see the magic smoke....f*ck it. theres a shop that can repair it close by. i have a 1 year warranty on it from indoaudio....might be able to get something from them if i can take waiting months for it.

Trust me no warranty will protect you from running an amp under its ohm rating.

ya...i sent them an email request to change the order to dual 1.4s. i've heard they have awesome cs so hopefully they catch the email before it ships out. if they dont and i end up with the dual .7s, i believe a 20.1 will be on the way and ill run the herc at 1.4 for the time being.

20.1 is famous for handling extremely low loads...and i should be able to come out even if i find a 20.1 used. .35 is low for any amp...so i'd only feel safe with a 20.1 in that case.

hopefully they just change the order before it ships out and i wont have to worry about any of it.

I'm pretty sure their are many other amps you could power at .35 ohms, but the 20.1 is a good amp.

well unless you can name an amp 450 dollars or less that is PROVEN to do .35 daily and put out the same range of power(2000+), ill stick with a 20.1 for now.
