I was looking at flip outs and the guy came over and was like "whatcha need" and i said i was looking for something that wouldnt skip because i wanted to compete and he said "yead i used to compete, i had a fosgate amp on 2 P3's and i db'ed at 167" and i acted like he was amazing and shit.

Why do they act like they know what they are talking about

They are trying to make you feel comfortable by making you feel like they know what they are doing.

Everytime I go in BB I have to move quickly if I look in the CA section for fear of having to deal with one of the knowledgeable sales staff.

I was approached by one guy who wanted to just check out my car system and tune it for free. i guess its thier way of saying, you need to buy stuff. I declined the offer.
