help!!!!!!!

I have an alpine deck with a brutis 1000d amp pushing 2 15" cerwin vega v-max subs. The problem is when I'm playing a cd it sounds great, but when I switch to the radio no stations come in until I turn off the amp. I didn't have this problem until I installed the hifonics amp. Before with all the same wiring it didn't happen with my other amps. Anyone out there who can help.
