Help!

Alright, my DVD burner crapped out last night so i gotta order a new drive off newegg... but while im ordering it i figure id upgrade my video card too. my limit is 150. i have a HD 2600XT 512MB right now.. i was thinking bout gettin a geforce 8800GT but is it much better then what i already have?
