Help!!

Alright so I get home and my computer has majically opened up all this stuff. I can't hardly get to one website now without something popping up that says "Free spyware cleaner" "Free Registery Cleaner" "Your computer may be being watched" "Your computer could be spyed on while you work" "Avus cleaner" blah blah their every where! I x them, they come back 20 seconds later. Is there something I can download to clean this mess up!?

I prefer SpySweeper. You have to buy it from the store, but it is well worth every last penny. You may also want to try using FireFox for some basic pop-up blockers and spyware protection. Other people like to use Opera also for that stuff.

Alright after about 5 hours, I knocked the crap out. Someone was trying to steal all my passwords from I understood, it was a trojan virus called bluesky or something. I downloaded the SmithFraudFix for this specefic virus after doing research on it, rebooted in safe mode, did some cleaning and deleting, and got rid of the nasty thing. It was so bad, to where you could have 30-40 spyware popups everytime you rebooted the computer.

See what happened was, either yourself OR someone else has been visiting A LOT of **** sites.

haha nah. No **** sites on this computer.

But one of the spywares was like 597 viruses and 03458035093805809348590 **** sites found I was like wtf. haha

you can also get hijackthis and run it. then post up your log file on hijackthis.de and get a pretty good evaluation of everything.

It sounds like you have a dirty registry and a lot of spyware.

Its a good thing that nice company is trying to tell you.

I suggest you download what ever software they are suggesting.

that's news to me, if so... i've never had any problems with trendmicro/hijackthis.

and i've also never had any problems with spy-ware/ad-ware/viruses on my 4 computers at home or my parents 5 computers.

of course, we stay away from the pr0n, too.

so, can't you aviod clicking the analyze button... or use the older version...

i think it's still a good tool, i dont think i would say hijackthis = spyware, necessarily, but it's just a shame that it all comes down to the money.
