I own a 1998 Toyota Camry.

I just finished installing JL Audio 250/1 mono block with 12w6v2.

I also have an Alpine ida-x001 installed.

I have connected everything but when I try to start the car, it will just die out.

Once I plug it out, it starts up fine.

I am pretty sure I have connected everything correctly.

Any ideas?

I also got new batteries for the car about 2 months ago.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone.

I will try my best to explain.

I bought a 8 AWG Rockford install kit.

Connected power to positive of battery to my amp.

Connected the Ground to my trunk to Amp.

Connected Remote from my Alpine to Amp.

And Connected my RCA from my Alpine to Amp.

I am not sure on how fully the battery was charged, I drove it about 4 hrs before testing.

I got this battery about two months ago. ( its a kirkland if that matters )

With the amp and subwoofer connected, the car wont even start, but once taken out, the car will start up ( Sometimes I have to jump the car to get it started )

Would a Cap. be any help?
