help with wireing subs to amp

i am going to do my first install on my own ride... i was wondering how i wire my subs to my amp for it to work proprly.. someone said i have to do something different since i am wireing 2 subs to one mono amp so i dont know... my subs and amp are in my sig.. thanks

well what impedence (ohm) are your subs? and if i remember correctly i belive your amp is 1 ohm stable, im not sure ive never dealt with them.

i believe the subs are dual 2.. and yes i think the amp is 1 ohm stable i think someone on here is running the same combo i have but i am not sure how it is wired

sweet thanks ... do you have any idea how many watts each speaker will get if i wire it at 2 ohm and .5 ohm?

900 watts x 1 at 2 ohms

over 2000 @ .5 and they will take it.

make sure that you are upgrading your big 3 once your new alt is installed

yeah i am .. i bought the kolossus wire for my big 3 heard that was supposed to be the best.. thanks again
