I got back in town and am going to finish up my wifes convertible but have to idea what to do with the layout/design of the trunk. I put the enclosure in (not finished yet) and have to figure out what to do with the two amps.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do with the amp/enclosure layout of the trunk, I cant think of anything that would look good to the eye.

Trunk Specs:

1x US Amps I/S 4085

Size (LxWxH): 14.5 x 9.5 x 2.5

1x US Amps I/S 2200 (not pictured)

Size (LxWxH): 16.1 x 9.5 x 2.5

Custom sub enclosure for (2) Elemental Design 9.kV2 subs

Thanks

Update:

Made a template of the spare tire well and cut out the rod which secures the spare. Template is completely flush in the spare well, and will secure the amps and CDT crossovers. I will try and build it up high enough to be recessed from the top portion of the wheel well, and then build a new false floor and expose one of the amps.

My thinking is this would not take away much more trunk space (the enclosure is the only portion of the system that is currently taking up trunk space) and utilize the space of the wheel well.

Am i entirely crazy?? Here is a picture of my temporary template...

whats the best way to cut the "windows" ? If I was to carpet the floor would I just flush mount from the top and use flat head screws? What is the best way to secure a false floor?

thanks and will keep updating!
